CURIEL, an Italian centenary ALTA MODA Fashion House Founded in Milan, hosted a Halloween swing ball fusing fashion and dance on October 29th, 2022, at the TAG Art Museum, Qingdao. In the late night of Halloween, DIVA, CURIEL's Little Mermaid, chased her dream from Capri in southern Italy all the way to the seaside. With her magic, DIVA deduced brand’s spirit “Dance to Rise" on the beach, bringing back the spirits of the magnificent Trieste, CURIEL's origin, from a century ago.

Founded in 2019, TAG Art Museum is located on the south bank of Tangdao Bay, West Coast New District, Qingdao, with a unique coastal spirit and organic indoor and outdoor exhibition support. On the scene, CURIEL combined retro and modern aesthetic language to create a Milanese social space inside the venue. With this swing ball, CURIEL paid tribute to the brand's historical support for the art of dance and declared the continuous loyal support in the future.

In addition to the ALTA MODA Collection, the ballroom featured the iconic little black dresses from CURIEL's signature Heritage Collection. The shimmering sea accents the classic Italian little black dresses, giving the space a sensual element of gentleness and elegance. In a corner of the ballroom, the event recreated a rising moment of a ballet dancer at the La Scala in Milan from the last century, which also offered to capture every shining moment of the event for guests.

Before the banquet, while enjoying the exquisite snacks, guests experienced the joy of swing dance under the lead of Xiaohei and Lenlen from Tsingtao Swing community. All the guests were caught in the vibe and stepped onto the dance floor to embrace dancing moments. Wonderful swing dances lit up the banquet, and a flash mob brought by Tsingtao Swing led in the prelude of the Nocturne of Mermaid. The swing dancers interacted and danced with the guests passionately, expressing their feelings freely with every dance moves. It is the same as the belief CURIEL conveys to all women through the little black dress: please no one else but yourself; express no identity but the true self.
