FW23 Dance Capsule Collection 'LBD-PRO'
CURIEL unveils its FW23 Dance Capsule Collection "LBD-PRO," where the intertwining of the little black dress and ballet exudes the authentic charm of femininity. Blooming with every dance move, it showcases a graceful and agile posture, epitomizing the brand's enduring philosophy of LA DOLCE VITA - the enjoyment of life's pleasures.
This collection draws inspiration from the longstanding friendship between the brand and Carla Fracci, the prima ballerina of Milan's La Scala Theatre. The profound connection between them transcends time, resembling an endless sequence of dance steps.
CURIEL's iconic Italian little black dress embraces a remarkable reinterpretation within the "LBD-PRO" dance capsule collection. Two tutu skirts in this collection are meticulously handcrafted from over 40 meters of varying thicknesses of tulle fabric. The circular cut of the skirt and the skilled craftsmanship of wide boning hint at the seamstress's contemplation of fashion functionality and silhouettes. The lining features intimate silk and soft knit fabrics, interconnected by elastic straps with a glossy sheen. Paired with layered and interlaced mesh skirts, ranging from light to heavy, frozen in a moment of fireworks, each detail space conceals the expression of dance artistry and exquisite craftsmanship.
By focusing the stage lights on every woman's shining moment, the little black dress becomes a symbol of self-expression for women. It captivates the eye and touches the heart, inviting us to dance to rise and embrace the beauty of life.
